There was one who saw their love from afar and grew more
envious as time went by.  Jealousy was a green eyed monster. 
She preyed upon and devoured those who were fragile and
insecure.  She watched the two from afar, lurking in the
shadows waiting for a sign of weakness, ready to destroy their
special love.  She couldn’t fathom the closeness, the love Day
and Night had for one another.  What she could never
understand she grew to hate.  She allowed the hate to fester
and become infected.

Day, was just as beautiful as her beloved companion Night. Where Night was dark Day was bright and radiant.  Hair was golden as spun gold, her eyes the color of sparking sapphires her skin as smooth as silk.

Night was the most handsome of the young gods.  Hair as black as ebony, eyes the color of coals that pierced you with a feeling of such coldness when he was angry, yet at the same time they held a warmth that could melt your heart.  Where ever Night walked darkness would followed close behind.

Day and Night pg 1-The Beginning

I wrote this story many years ago for a class I was taking.  I've been wanting to illustrate it for a long time now.  So this will be a series of pages illustrating each part of the story.  Hope you enjoy seeing the story develop with each page I upload.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  And God said,  “Let there be light, “ and  there was light.  God saw that the light was good and He separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “DAY”, and the darkness he called “NIGHT”…..

Genesis 1:1-4

Long ago when the world was not yet formed, there existed a boy and a girl named Night and Day.

Sometimes it takes breaking down and asking for that help before things can get better.  I wrote this a few years back when things were just coming at me right and left and finally I just broke down and cried out to God.....this is what I wrote...

God are you listening, do You really care!
I cry out, but no one is there
I’m feeling so abandoned. 
I know that you promised that you wouldn’t
give us anything we couldn’t handle…
well God….
I’m there! 
I can’t handle anymore….
I’m wore out and broken….
