Day and Night pg 1-The Beginning

I wrote this story many years ago for a class I was taking.  I've been wanting to illustrate it for a long time now.  So this will be a series of pages illustrating each part of the story.  Hope you enjoy seeing the story develop with each page I upload.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  And God said,  “Let there be light, “ and  there was light.  God saw that the light was good and He separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “DAY”, and the darkness he called “NIGHT”…..

Genesis 1:1-4

Long ago when the world was not yet formed, there existed a boy and a girl named Night and Day.
