Selfie Newbies

Selfie Newbies for sure. I thought it would be a good time to get a picture of Jim and I this morning before going to Christmas Eve services.....We are so not good at them, Jim was squinting and wondering why there was no flash in the first one. The second one he still didn't know where to look and I look like I'm irritated....not good pictures, but we laughed about them all the way to church. It felt like one of those commercials of old people trying to figure out the new laptop and not realizing they were recording everything they were saying while trying to figure out the darn thing.....hee hee

Mary did you know has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs.  Tonight as I was listening to it once again I decided a layout needed to happen.

Again I used a photo/painting from Pinterest to start this layout.  As everyone knows I have always been partial to angels.  This one was perfect to use with Jopke's kit "Stillness of Winter".  When I saw her kit I thought of Peace, what better way to depict peace then having an angel watching over us each night.

My daughter watches these two little girls, they are about the same age as Risa.  The girls had seen the movie Coco and they are discussing it with Risa, this is what my daughter wrote about it.  Out of the mouths of babes!  Ha ha....

These girls crack me up. I was listening in on their conversation about the movie Coco, and how funny it was. Then they started talking about how they are Mexican because they like spicy food. What Mexican doesn't like spicy food, right!?!? Then Risa asked the girls, "What is your mom made of?" (Translation: What is your mom's ethnicity?) The girls responded, "Nothing, she's normal!"
