Risa's 1st Day of Preschool

September 5, 2018 - Today was Risa’s first day of pre-k. She was a little shaky this morning as we were getting ready and MIGHT have had a couple meltdowns in fear of missing mommy and being in a room with new people, but after rubbing her feet down with Valor (aka liquid courage) and putting some Peace & Calming behind her ears, she was ready to go.

She bravely went in her new classroom today without tears and came out full of smiles. Her favorite things she enjoyed were making all her projects.

Today was a terrible no good very bad DAY

Today was really yesterday, it was the end of one of the most trying weeks ever at work.  Our company had announced last Friday 8-31-18, they were filing Chapter 11 bankruptsy. I work in the payroll department and we had to deal with phone calls and issues all week.  Needless to say my layout says it all without me having to go into any further details.

Okay honey, ready set smile.  Wait where do I Iook?  How come there is no flash..

Okay honey, one more time are you ready?  Really!!! you are still not looking at the camera correctly.....LOL  Two newbies trying to do a selfie, in the first picture hubby is not getting it, second picture hubby still is not getting it and I look pretty frustrated by the whole process!!!!

Selfie Newbies for sure. I thought it would be a good time to get a picture of Jim and I this morning before going to Christmas Eve services.....We are so not good at them, Jim was squinting and wondering why there was no flash in the first one. The second one he still didn't know where to look and I look like I'm irritated....not good pictures, but we laughed about them all the way to church. It felt like one of those commercials of old people trying to figure out the new laptop and not realizing they were recording everything they were saying while trying to figure out the darn thing.....hee hee
